INTRODUCTION

Jahcon International Limited (JIL) has over four years of experience in planning, designing, procurement and construction of civil mechanical and electrical engineering works. It was incorporated in 1993 with a share capital of 100,000 ordinary shares which has been increased to 10,000,000 ordinary shares. It has its registered office at No. 15 Iriebe Street, D/Line, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

JIL is fast growing in the provision of engineering, procurement and construction services as well as complete turnkey services in partnership with companies in the United States of America and other International Manufacturing/Construction firms.

Being a full services company, JIL provides technical know-how in facets of project development and operation. We have successfully executed and participated in multimillion World Bank sponsored projects in Rivers State of Nigeria. JIL is large enough to handle the most complex jobs, yet small to address individual problems. Whether an entire engineering task force is needed, a technical consulting team or single expert, JIL offers a staff to do the job right the first time in accordance with project specifications, on schedule, and within budget anywhere in the world

The primary objective of JIL is to provide state of the art engineering service as a contribution towards the accelerated development of Nigeria in general and the Niger Delta parts of the country with their challenging environment, in particular.

However, the company also has as one of its principal objectives, the provision of indigenous components into its engineering service and practice which can only come from local knowledge and experience, lack of which courts disaster and failure.

JIL’s mission is also to ensure that its workforce deliver its services to clients, competently, satisfactorily, dedicatedly, committedly and, finally JIL’s objective is to be, within the shortest possible time, among the nation’s topmost engineering firms, comparable with the best in the world.

OPERATIONS

JIL operates as of now, mostly in the Niger Delta area of Nigeria with Port Harcourt as the nerve centre. But the company has the capability, resources, facilities and response capacity to handle jobs in any part of the country where the need arises. JIL’s capacity to accomplish above feat is based on the company’s network of affiliates both in Nigeria and abroad, which provide complimentary services and response according to clients’ needs and demands. Such operational arrangement ensures that Clients’ services are attended to, not only promptly but with best available facilities and resources.

Our design services personnel with background in a wide range of engineering specialties, represent a wealth of talent and experience in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural and Petroleum Engineers who are available to contribute to the development of the project. Specialists are also available to provide procurement and quality assurance services such as buyers, expeditors, inspectors, materials and personnel.

The company offers engineering consultancy services from feasibility studies through planning and design to supervision and facility management. It also offers engineering procurement and construction services either as Owner funded or turnkey service, in partnership with foreign affiliates and partners mostly in the United States and European countries.
